New Tariscope 4.0.8 version
SoftPI has released a new version of Tariscope. Tariscope 4.0.8 has some new features and fixes.
New features
New view type
A new document type was added in Tariscope 4.0.8 that allows opening the tabular files such as txt, csv, xls, or xlsx to view and analyze them. This feature may be useful, for example, when you want to view information in files in which data from the Tariscope views were saved. Now you do not require external applications to do this. The Tariscope user can apply simple filtering and searching for these documents, print or save them in another format. An example of this feature is shown in Figure 1.

Support window
The Support window was added into Tariscope as shown in Figure 2.
It contains email and Skype addresses that are downloaded from the SoftPI site. The clicking on the Skype address provides a quick access to the SoftPI support team.
Hot keys of SQL editor
The following hot keys were added in the SQL editor:
- Ctrl + S. It saves and applies the filter conditions.
- Esc. It provides a quick exit from the Tariscope SQL editor.
RDL reports
The support of reports of Report Definition Language (RDL) format was returned in Tariscope. This format is used for Staistical reports.
Fixes
- The parser for Cisco Call Manager Express (IOS) was updated. The processing of incoming transfer (BXFER) and accounting of a phone number from the field of gw_final_xlated_cgn were added.
- Fixed realtime restrictions of subscribers, if SQL Server was unavailable at the time of the Tariscope service launch.
- Fixed handling of CSV files with a header, if several headers contain the same value.
