2.2.19 Import of accrued one-time services in Tariscope
If you are a telecom operator and you need to charge the same one-time service to many subscribers, then you can use importing such information from an Excel file into the Tariscope system. This service can be charged separately for each subscriber on the subscriber account pages. But now we will look at the import of charges for one-time services.
The import file must contain the following fields:
1. Subscriber’s personal account.
2. Date on which the one-time service will be charged.
3. Amount for a one-time service.
There may be other fields in this file, but they will not be used to import data into Tariscope.
To import one-time charges, select Subscribers Accounts in the Tariscope menu. A corresponding page will appear, where you click on the Charging of a one-time service accrual icon (Figure 2.2.19.1).

As a result, the Import Wizard page will open (Figure 2.2.19.2).

Click the Start button. The Import Wizard page will look as shown in Figure 2.2.19.3.

The default File Type list is Excel 2007 (xlsx). We recommend preparing information for import in this file type. The list of required columns in this file is given above. The file must contain a title, which should occupy one line.
Click the Choose file and select a file to import data on the accrual of one-time services.
Click Next. The Import Wizard page will look as shown in Figure 2.2.19.4.
Figure 2.2.19.4
This page allows you to select an Excel file with the required data. For example, a file may contain accruals for various one-time services on different sheets of the file.
Click Next.
The Import Wizard page will look like the example shown in Figure 2.2.19.5.

This import step is designed to link Excel file columns with Tariscope database fields.
In the Personal Account, Date and Cost lists, select the appropriate file columns that appear below. An example of such a choice of indications is in Figure 2.2.19.6.

Click Next. The last page of the Import Wizard will be displayed, an example of which is shown in Figure 2.2.19.7.
Figure 2.2.19.7
Due to the fact that the system did not recognize the date format of the Excel file, it is proposed to enter the format that is used in the file in the Date Format position.
In the Services, select a disposable name that will be charged. Let us remind you that services are created on the Services page.
After that, click on the Import button. The data will be imported into the Tariscope database. The results of the import are recorded in the Tariscope log. An example of such records is shown in Figure 2.2.19.8.
Figure 2.2.19.8
As can be seen from the log entries, a one-time service with identifier 70 was charged to subscribers with identifiers 6169, 6232 and 7236.
You can also check the results of charges in the personal account of the corresponding subscriber or create a corresponding submission for services. An example of such a presentation is shown in Figure 2.2.19.9.
