Tariscope 4.5.2
SoftPI is excited to announce a new version of Tariscope, Tariscope 4.5.2. Tariscope is a call accounting and billing system that is used in more than 30 countries. The new Tariscope version contains a number of innovations and bug fixes of the previous version.
Innovations of Tariscope 4.5.2
Identification of corporate telephone network subscribers
This feature can be useful for those users who have two or more PBXs and who want to control calls within their telephone network.
Figure 1
Tariscope call processing works so that calls within one PBX, i.e. without using routes (gateways), are considered internal. Calls received or made using routes (gateways) are considered as an external call (local, long distance, international or mobile operators). Therefore, if a user has several PBXs that are interconnected, then the call of a subscriber of one PBX to the subscriber of another PBX is considered as an external call by default. In Tariscope, there were previously mechanisms for correctly defining such calls, for example, as corporate or internal calls. But these settings were quite complicated.
In Tariscope 4.5.2, settings have been added that allow you to quickly tell the system that the route or gateway binds two PBXs owned by the user. To do this setting, on the Routes and gateways page, select the desired route (gateway) and click on the Equipment network icon as shown in Figure 2.
Figure 2
The Equipment network windows appears. Select PBX banded to the current PBX and select a call type that will assign to calls to subscribers of this PBX. Also, you should set a numbering plan for the selected PBX.
Adding a group of extensions to a subscriber
This function in most cases is relevant for telephone service providers. Tariscope 4.5.2 improves the ability to add a group of extensions for the subscriber. To do this, you should click Add icon on the toolbar of page of the desired subscriber and perform the actions that specified in the window. (Figure 3).

You can add a list of extensions or the extension range. Also, now you can delete a group extensions.
Automatic subscriber creation
In the Tariscope system, calls without identifying the subscriber to which they belong are not charged. Therefore, for calls rating, you must enter all the subscribers. There are several ways to do this. One of them is the automatic formation of subscribers when processing information about calls. To exclude this situation, now subscribers are created only for those extensions that are specified in the PBX numbering plan. That is, to use the automatic subscriber creation, you need to specify a numbering plan for PBX.
Fixes
The dialog box for establishing the order of the fields and their display in the views has been fixed. Previously, the order of the fields was not saved when you re-open this dialog box.
