Tariscope 4.5.4

SoftPI is excited to announce a new version of Tariscope, Tariscope 4.5.4. Tariscope is a call accounting and billing system that is used in more than 30 countries. The new version of Tariscope includes several new features and bug fixes from previous versions.

Innovations of Tariscope 4.5.4

First of all, the innovations in Tariscope 4.5.4 are related to the Tariscope Provider edition, which is intended for telecom operators.

Subsystem of work orders

This subsystem is intended for telecom operators who need to keep records and manage orders for any work. An example of the Orders List page is shown in Figure 1.

The page allows you to create orders, appoint a person in charge, assign performers, link orders to any subscriber, automatically charge the cost of a service for a completed task, and more. When assigning an order to a subscriber, the address of this subscriber is automatically added to the order parameters that allows the order executor to have all the necessary information. To implement this subsystem, a new type of user has been added to Tariscope: an employee who has access only to the Order system (Figure 2).

And also a Web application was created for such users (Figure 3), which allows them to view their orders or orders of other employees for whom he is a responsible person, indicate the start and end dates of the order, etc. To monitor the execution of orders, the Tariscope administrator can use both the Orders List page and a new widget, an example of which is shown in Figure 4.

Other new features in Tariscope 4.5.4

1. Added a warning message to the CDR processing page if a file with a size of more than 128 MB is added for processing. Such files are not processed.
2. Added standard view: 1000 longest calls for the last month.
3. Added the ability to transfer balance when creating a linked copy of a subscriber.
4. Added the ability to select the format of the phone number that is used for searching among local codes (original as in CDR or converted to E.164 format).
5. Added a column to the users page that displays the type of user (Administrator, Employee, etc.).

Bug fixes

1. Fixed the import of operators from the SoftPI server (on-line), which was used in the initial setup wizard.
2. Fixed the function for creating groups of restriction classes.
3. Localization fixes in a number of modules.
4. Fixed the default view: 1000 longest calls this month. Previously, this view displayed data for the past month.
5. Fixed the display of the tariff plan name in the subscribers table. In some cases, the ID was displayed instead of the plan name.
6. Fixed the import of tax code when importing subscribers from an external file. Not imported previously.
7. Fixed editing of document types for the subscriber. When adding new types of documents, existing types are now displayed.
8. Fixed adding a number to a subscriber. Previously, the date of connection / disconnection of a subscriber could be set incorrectly.
9. Fixed the problem with new subscriber numbers. Previously, if you add a number, then it was not displayed when charging a service / service package or when adding a damage until you reload the page.

How to upgrade to Tariscope 4.5.4

Any official user of the system who has active warranty or post-warranty support can update to the new version of Tariscope 4.5.4.
