Tariscope 4.0.9
SoftPI has released a new version of call accounting and telecom billing system - Tariscope. Tariscope 4.0.9 has some new features and fixes.
New features
Support of authorization codes for 3CX Phone System
Tariscope 4.0.9 allows a company that has 3CX Phone System v14 to apply authorization codes. The administrator of 3CX Phone System can create authorization codes for subscribers that allows a subscriber to make outgoing calls from any extension using the authorization code. If an authorization code is not applied, an outgoing call will be denied. The control of using these codes is executed by Tariscope. Tariscope also provides correctness of charge of call costs.
To use this feature, the Tariscope license with the restriction feature is required, and the administrator of 3CX Phone System must perform a configuration of 3CX Phone System and Tariscope. The Tariscope configuration includes a configuration of the restriction feature and support of authorization codes. The Tariscope window, where the configuration for using authorization codes with 3CX Phone System, is shown in Figure 1.

Comparison of different data
The previous Tariscope versions contained the utility that allowed to compare the Tariscope data with corresponding data of telecom service provider. In the new Tariscope version this utility has been redesigned and included in the Tariscope program. The possibilities of comparison were significantly expanded. Now it is possible to compare not only the Tariscope data with corresponding data of telecom service provider, but two views of Tariscope or any two documents with call data in the tabular form, such as CSV, XML, etc. This possibility can be used, for example, for the choice of telecom service provider with the best rates by comparison of Tariscope views based on rates on different telecom service providers.
