Tariscope 4.3
SoftPI has released a new version of Tariscope. Tariscope is a call accounting system and telecom billing system. Tariscope 4.3 has some new features and fixes.
New features
Accounting for taxes when services charging
This innovation can be important for users of Tariscope Provider, who charge services for customers, that are taxable or have any additional payments.
A new configuration page was added to the Tariscope program. This is Taxes page. It allows a Tariscope administrator to type a list of taxes or additional payments that should be charged on the services.
Accordingly, in the settings of communication services, it became possible to indicate which of the taxes or additional payments are applicable to a particular service.
Now information about taxes is displayed in customers' accounts and in the Tariscope Personal Area.
The Tariscope users of previous versions who want to use taxes in Tariscope should add the tax information in their invoice and report forms themself.
An example of Tariscope program with selection of the Taxes configuration page is shown in Figure 1.

An example of a service editing window with the addition of taxes is shown in Figure 2.

Upgrade of Tariscope Personal Area
1. Displaying information about the restriction feature status.
This innovation may be relevant for Tariscope users, whose license includes the restriction feature. Now the calls page displays also:
- the subscriber status for which the restriction was set,
- the limit value set for a subscriber,
- the amount of the current limit used.
2. Displaying information about charged taxes, if they are used in the Tariscope Provider edition and services contain taxes or additional payments.
Enhanced call processing capabilities from CUCM
In the case Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) uses the replacement of the prefix in the dialed number and there is a need to rate calls on this prefix, this capability has added in Tariscope. In the settings of the CUCM parser, a check box was added, the choice of which determines that as the dialed number in Tariscope the data from the CDR field of outpusedCalledPartyNumber will be used. The window for setting this parameter is shown in Figure 4.

Customer Request Report
A report has been added to the installation package, allowing the administrator of the system to view the issues or other information sent by subscribers. This report is located in the Services reports folder.
Fixes
- Fixed some bugs that occurred when exporting data about subscribers from an external file.
- The error of the parser 3CX Phone System has been fixed. When incoming calls for which the call was redirected to an external telephone number was made, the record was not created for such incoming call.
- Fixed some bugs in the Coral Flexicom parser.
- The error in the Tariscope Tasks was fixed. If a report contained parameters and the default values of the parameters were changed, this report was not generated.
- The bug was fixed the message about which appeared in some cases when calls rating were performed.
- The export of the report in PDF format has been fixed. When exporting, the dollar sign ($), which was contained in the report, was ignored.
- The error contained in the script of changing the class of service for the HiPath 4400 was fixed. The error was manifested in the fact that in some cases the script was not executed because the previously executed script remained in an incomplete state.
