New version of Tariscope 4.4.3
We are happy to announce the release of Tariscope 4.4.3. The new version contains new features and bug fixes.
New features
Dashboard
The dashboard was added to Tariscope Web Administrator (TWA). An example of the dashboard is shown in figure 1.

The dashboard allows you to display 11 different types of widgets. Now the dashboard includes the following widgets:
- Balance statistics.. This widget can be applied by telecom service provides who use the Tariscope Provider edition. It displays the beginning balance for the current month, sum of charged serviced on the current day, sum of payments from customers for the current month, and current day balance.
- Call statistics. It is a graph of call traffic. A Tariscope administrator can configure a graph period, traffic type (from a communication node, PBX, department, or subscriber), call direction (all directions, incoming, outgoing, internal, or transit). It is possible to simultaneously display data on two elements of the same type.
- Current date and time. Displays the current date and time.
- Database size. If you use Microsoft SQL Server Express edition, it has a restriction on the database size. In this case the widget displays percentage of available database volume.
- Database information. It displays the server name, database size, log file size, and Tariscope database version.
- Request to database.. The widget allows you to create a query to the Tariscope database to get any data and display them in the widget using HTML tags.
- Latest news article Displays an announce of the latest article on the Tariscope site.
- The current version of Tariscope.Displays information about the latest Tariscope version and used version.
- License usage. The widget displays percentage of usage the Tariscope license.
- Notes. ЭIt allows you to create notes that display on the dashboard.
- Tariscope task status.. Displays a task list of Tariscope Tasks for today and yesterday. The list contains a task name, time when task must be executed, and execution status.
The Tariscope administrator can configure a widget size, its position on the dashboard, and some other parameters.
Support of OpenScape Voice v.9
Tariscope 4.4.3 supports processing CDR files from OpenScape Voice v.9 (Unify). The previous Tariscope versions support processing only OpenScape Voice v.3. These PBXs contain different CDR formats.
Node, PBX and subscriber configuration
Configuration pages for nodes, equipment and subscribers have been completely redesigned in TWA. Now use of these pages has become more convenient and faster.
New CDR data source for Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office
As previously reported, the new CDR data source was added in Tariscope. It allows you to collect CDR from Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office (Alcatel-Lucent OXO) using Web services.
Issues system
In current time there are many ways for subscribers to communicate with the PBX and Tariscope administrator. One of these ways was implemented in TWA, as the issues subsystem. The subsystem allows the Tariscope administrator to get an issue from subscribers (customers) and answer them (Figure 2).

Equipment creation wizard
The Equipment Creation Wizard was added to TWA. Unlike the Initial setup wizard used in the Tariscope program, the Equipment Creation Wizard can be applied both on initial step of the Tariscope configuration and on the step when needs to add a new PBX or communication node.

The wizard allows to configure the main Tariscope settings. .
Fixes
- Fixed the Tariscope Observer configuration in TWA.
- The error of the mode to charge services for the month has been fixed in the Tariscope program.
- Fixed bug with using subscriber import from an external file when the full name of subscribers was selected to create an entry.
- To correctly process CDR from Median 1000 (AudioCodex), we added IP addresses or domain names from subscribers' URIs on the configuration page.
Accessibility
The Tariscope 4.4.3 installation package is available on the site. All Tariscope users who have warranty or post-warranty support can install and use this version. Before any Tariscope update, we recommend that you create a full backup of the Tariscope database. The new version of Tariscope can be installed without uninstalling the previous version.
