2.2. Working with views for calls
2.2.2 Management of the views
If you open the View page first time, you see only the Standard views group. After you have created a new view, the Your views and Recently opened groups appear, where the new created view is. The Your views group contains all your views. By default, the Recently opened group contains 5 views that you recently opened. You can change this value. To do this, in the Tariscope menu, click on the Additional options menu item, then the System variable subitem. The System variables page is opened. Select the WebViewLastOpenedSize variable, click on the Edit icon on the toolbar, and change the value in the Edit window.
If you want to group some views in the separate group, you should create a new group and transfer the desired views into the group. To create a new group, click on the Group management icon on the toolbar of the Views page. The Group management window appears (Figure 2.2.2.1).

The window includes three tabs. The default tab is the Add tab. Enter a group name in the Group name box and click on the +Add button. You can repeat the action if you need to create a few view groups. Then click Done. Groups that do not contain views are not displayed on the Views page. Choose the desired view and click on the Relocate icon on the toolbar. The Relocating window appears. In the Select group list, choose the required group, and click on the Relocate button. The view will be transferred to the group.
To change a group name, select the Edit tab in the Group management window, in the Select group list, choose the desired group, and click Rename. In the Group name box, edit the name and click Save.
If you want to delete a group, choose the Delete tab in the Group management window. In the Select group list, choose the desired group. If the group contains views and you want to delete these views together with the view, turn on the Also delete the views in the group switch. Click Delete.
To change view settings, select the desired view on the Views page and click on the Edit icon on the toolbar. The Editing page is displayed. An example of the page is shown in Figure 2.2.2.2.

The page allows you to change the view name (the Name box), number of rows that will be displayed (the Rows limit box), the view filter, fields which will be displayed and their order, sorting, and grouping.
A filter which you create during a creation of the view is a base filter. To change its settings, click on the Edit base filter link. In the SQL Editor window, which appears, change the filter options. If you set filter option in the view and you want to change them, click on the Edit filter link. Change the filter options in the SQL Editor window.
If you need to set a sorting or change sort options, click on the Edit link near the Sorting label. The Select column to sort window appear. Turn on a switch near the desired field and select a sorting direction. Click OK.
To change a set of the fields to display and their order, click on the Edit lick near the Fields label. The Select columns to display window appears. Turn on or off switches near the desired fields and change their order using up and down arrows. Click OK.
If you want to apply a data grouping or change its options, click on the Edit link near the Grouping label. The Select columns to group window appears. Turn on a switch near the desired field and choose a grouping type. Click OK.
To delete a view, select it on the View page and click on the Delete icon on the toolbar. The Deleting window appear where you must confirm the deletion of the view.
