Subscriber Management
Tariscope contains a Subscriber Management system that provides great opportunities for both users of the Tariscope Enterprise edition and users of the Tariscope Provider edition.
The system provides a single profile for a customer (subscriber), which can contain multiple phone numbers (directory numbers) from different phone systems, IP addresses for Internet access and other services.
Tariscope Subscriber Management provides the following features:
- an input of a subscriber information (or a customer information - for Tariscope Provider) in an automatic or manual modes;
- a search for the desired subscriber on a single parameter or a group of parameters;
- keeping the history of a subscriber associated with the change of their phone numbers, rate plans, etc.;
- an ability to move a subscriber from a group of subscribers to another one;
- an export of the subscriber database in an external file;
- a creation of a backup copy of the subscriber database;
- an opportunity to work with the accounts of subscribers: to generate invoices, payment acceptance (only for Tariscope Provider) and other documents;
- a generation of various types of reports;
- an accounting for damages;
- a subscriber (customer) access to information about his calls, account status, and others.
It should be borne in mind that a subscriber is tied to a particular communication node in Tariscope. The communication node can contains a single communications equipment or a few ones such as telephone systems or routers that provides an Internet access. The communication node may minimally consist of one telephone system or router. A subscriber can have one or more phone numbers or IP addresses belonging to one or more telephone systems or routers. A subscriber may minimally have one telephone number or IP address.
The personal data of subscribers can be stored in a tree structure. This tree structure has no restrictions on the number of levels. Each level of the tree can correspond to a different groups of subscribers. This allows to store the data of subscribers for any enterprise structure.
Tariscope supports several options to enter the parameters of subscribers (customers) in an automated mode:

Import from a file. Parameters of subscribers are imported from files of the following formats: Microsoft Excel or Access, CSV, dBase, Text, database of Tariscope.

Import from Active Directory. Parameters of subscribers are imported from Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP catalog.

Automatically create subscribers. The entries of the subscriber database are created in the time of processing of CDR data. A phone number of a subscriber with "a" prefix is used as the name of the subscriber.
The subscriber profile contains more than 30 fields that allows to store all required parameters.
Tariscope provides a quick and easy filtering or search of parameters of a desired subscriber.
Services can be charged both automatic or manual modes. If necessary, the Tariscope manager can recharge services for a subscriber or a group of subscribers for the required period.
A customer can perform payments for the services using the Tariscope Personal Area or other ways. Tariscope provides an input of information about customers' payments.
